ART OF THE STATE Exhibition Opening
Opening Celebration March 18, 6-9pm, The Arvada Center for the Arts, 720-898-7200. Free Reservations are required https://arvadacenter.org/events/art-of-the-state-2022. The show is open from January 20 - March 27, 2022. Every 3 years, all 10,000 sq ft of the center galleries are filled with this state survey. Jurors this year are: Collin Parson, Director of Galleries and Curator at the center. Louise Martorano, Executive Director, RedLine Contemporary Art Center and Ellamaria Ray, Artist/Anthropologist, Professor of Africana Studies, Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Art Base Circle
This is a rotating exhibition for artists who have had solo shows at the art center. Seen is a sculpture named MISFIT, a story of how vulnerable we sometimes feel at art openings!
LandMark Ongoing Exhibition
The LandMark Exhibition opened in the spring of 2021 and will continue through April 21, 2024. Lovendahl’s artwork is in Arvada at The Saddlebrook Park, open daily. LandMark brings artwork to people directly, in our strange new worlds, in the neighborhoods that we are reacquainting ourselves with, providing new inroads to experiencing art.
